Het voormalige akkerbouwershuis werd in de jaren 1989 - 1990 gerestaureerd. Stilelementen uit de 17e - 20e eeuw zijn hier te vinden. Tot 1984 werd het huis nog bewoond door Liesken Grave. Zij gaf het huis ook de naam. Op 31 augustus 1990 werd het huis na de restauratie ingezegend. Sinds 1 september 1993 dient het huis de Heimatverein Gemen e.V. als thuisbasis. Van het huis Grave gaan we direct over de brug en zien dan de katholieke parochiekerk.
