Zwenzow is een deelgemeente van de gemeente Userin in het district Mecklenburgische Seenplatte met ongeveer 100 inwoners en ligt direct aan de noordelijke oever van het Großen Labussee, grenzend aan het Müritz-Nationalpark.
Meer dan duizend jaar geleden vestigden de Wenden zich aan de Labussee en stichtten een vissersdorp. De plaatsnaam Zwenzow is afgeleid van het woord sveca, wat ongeveer 'woonplaats van de heilige familie' betekent. In 1275 werd Zwenzow vermeld als Swenza en in 1568 als Tzuuentze. Nadat de pest rond 1350 in de omgeving had toegeslagen, bleef de naam alleen 400 jaar lang als vluchtnamen – Zwenzow had geen inwoners meer.
