De Loreleykreis, oorspronkelijk Kreis Sankt Goarshausen of Landkreis Sankt Goarshausen, was een Landkreis in het huidige Rijnland-Palts, die bestond van 1886 tot 1969. De hoofdplaats was Sankt Goarshausen.
De Landkreis grensde begin 1969 met de klok mee, beginnend in het noorden, aan de Unterwesterwaldkreis en de Unterlahnkreis, aan de Untertaunuskreis en de Rheingaukreis, evenals aan de Landkreisen Sankt Goar en Koblenz en aan de gemeente Koblenz zonder Landkreis.
