Homert is een gehucht in het zuidoosten van de stadsregio Lüdenscheid in het westelijke Sauerland, Noordrijn-Westfalen. Het behoort tot statistisch district 10.
Het gehucht Homert ligt in het Ebbegebergte in het natuurpark Ebbegebergte. Het bevindt zich ongeveer 4,5 km ten zuiden van het stadscentrum van Lüdenscheid en ongeveer 300 m ten zuidoosten van de Homerttop op een hoogte van ongeveer 500 tot 521 m. In oostelijke richting daalt het boslandschap voorbij de autosnelweg 45 naar de nabijgelegen Versetalsperre; in de nabije omgeving liggen ook de Jubach- en Fürwiggetalsperre. Ten zuidwesten van het gehucht ontspringt de Volme-bijbeek Jubach.
