Dreisbach is de kleinste wijk van de gemeente Mettlach in de Landkreis Merzig-Wadern. Tot eind 1973 was Dreisbach een zelfstandige gemeente. In Dreisbach is er een drukbezochte jeugdherberg.
Dreisbach ligt direct aan de Saarschleife. Het dorp is vernoemd naar de beek die daar in de Saar uitmondt. Het bovenloop van de beek draagt de naam Salzbach. De naam van de benedenloop komt van het Gotische Drinsan, wat vallen of neerstorten betekent.
