Ribe is een stad en voormalige gemeente in Denemarken. De stad geldt als oudste stad van Scandinavië. Tot 2007 was het de hoofdplaats van de gelijknamige provincie Ribe.De oppervlakte bedroeg 351,98 km². De gemeente telde in 2005 18.147 inwoners . Ribe zelf telde in 2020 ca. 8200 inwoners.
