Sabadell is een stad en gemeente in de Catalaanse provincie Barcelona. In 2016 telde Sabadell 208.246 inwoners. Sabadell is een voorstad van Barcelona en functioneert vooral als een van de industriële en commerciële centra van die stad, en ligt slechts op 20 kilometer ten noordwesten van deze stadskern. Het is de op een na grootste stad van de comarca Vallès Occidental en deelt de hoofdstedelijke taken daarvan met Terrassa. Archeologische vondsten in de zones Can Roqueta en Can Gambús duiden erop dat Sabadell in ieder geval al 3500 jaar bestaat.
