De Salinas van Torrevieja en La Mata zijn een Natuurpark en zijn gelegen in de comarca Vega Baja del Segura in het zuiden van de provincie Alicante binnen de autonome regio Valencia aan de Spaanse oostkust ten noorden van de Spaanse havenstad Torrevieja.
De beide grote zoutmeren bij Torrevieja en La Mata worden in de volksmond zowel de Salinas van Torrevieja en La Mata, alsook de Lagunas van Torrevieja en La Mata genoemd. Salinas betekent letterlijk vertaald zoutmijnen en verwijst naar de zoutmijnen of zoutwinning bij de havenstad Torrevieja. Lagunas betekent letterlijk vertaald strandmeren of lagunes en verwijst naar beide grote zoutmeren. Beide woorden worden echter wisselend gebruikt om deze zoutmeren aan te duiden.
