Het Kasteel van San Vicente, ook bekend als het Kasteel van de Koning, bevindt zich in de Oude Stad van San Vicente de la Barquera. Het is een Cultureel Erfgoed van Cantabrië, met de status van Monument. Een Overeenkomst van 28 oktober 2002 maakte de verklaring van Cultureel Erfgoed, op grond van de wet, met de status van Monument, van het Kasteel van San Vicente de la Barquera openbaar, en dit op basis van wat is vastgesteld in de Tweede Aanvullende Bepaling van Wet 16/1985 van 25 juni, betreffende het Spaanse Historisch Erfgoed, waarbij de goederen die door het Koninklijk Besluit van 22 april 1949 over de bescherming van Spaanse kastelen worden genoemd als Cultureel Erfgoed worden beschouwd.
