Van Mirador Peña Vieja heb je een prachtig zicht hoe Arcos de la Frontera op een spectaculaire rots ligt.
De witte huizen en stenen kasteelmuren stoppen abrubt op de steile rotswand boven de vruchtbare vallei van de rivier de Guadalete. In 1962 is Arcos uitgeroepen tot nationaal historisch-artistiek monument als erkenning voor zijn uitzonderlijke architectuur en indrukwekkende locatie. De oude stad is een doolhof van straatjes die leiden tot een zandstenen kasteel, het Castillo de los Arcos.
Zoals je zou verwachten van een dergelijk spectaculaire uitkijkpunt, zijn er spannende uitzichten over de stad en de glooiende vlakte eronder.
