De kerk Saint-Pierre, die al meer dan 700 jaar tegenover de consulszaal staat, geeft Gourdon zijn karakteristieke profiel en geeft in de verte de indruk van een fort. De voorgevel, geflankeerd door twee klokkentorens, werd tijdens de godsdienstoorlogen voltooid door machinaties.het koor is versierd met een 17e eeuws barok ensemble van beschilderde en gebeeldhouwde houten schilderijen van de familie Tournié, beeldhouwers uit Gourdonne wier faam zich tot ver buiten de stad verspreidde.
