Col de Sarenne begint aan het stuwmeer gelegen aan de voet van Les Deux Alpes, zeer stijle stukken komen hier
tevoorschijn, maar met zeer mooie uitzichten , naarmate hoe hoger je komt wordt het wegdek slechter.
Deze beklimming is de achterzijde van Alpe d'huez. Afdaling langs de voorzijde van Alpe d'Huez.
