Witte waterstof of ‘geologische waterstof’ is aanwezig in het Noord-Franse Lotharingen (Metz). Hier hebben wetenschappers grote hoeveelheden aangetroffen van die potentiële schone energie. Het is een verbazingwekkende vondst in Lotharingen.
Witte waterstof is waterstof dat in zijn puurste vorm in de grond gevonden wordt. Het grote voordeel van witte waterstof is dat je geen energie in de productie ervan hoeft te steken
Hier in Metz werd één van de grootste vondsten van witte waterstof gedaan waarbij er geschat wordt dat er ruim 46 miljoen ton waterstof in de Noord-Franse grond zit.
