Castelnaudary is een gemeente in het Franse departement Aude . De gemeente telde 12.187 inwoners op 1 januari 2019. De plaats maakt deel uit van het arrondissement Carcassonne. In de gemeente ligt spoorwegstation Castelnaudary.Het stadje is de zelfverklaarde wereldhoofdstad van de Cassoulet, en huisvest de kazerne van het 4e régiment étranger, het opleidingskamp van het Vreemdelingenlegioen van het Franse leger.
