Een nieuwsgierige rechthoekige vesting komt in uw gezichtsveld. Voordien bekend als het "kasteel van Haut", herinnert de Folie u eraan dat u aan de rand van het bos bent, in een loofhout. Ook al werd het kasteel verwoest tijdens de Eerste Wereldoorlog, het uitzicht op de in kalksteen gehouwen grachten is nog steeds indrukwekkend. Met de resten van zijn torens op de hoeken en langs de curtainwalls, is het kasteel van de Folie representatief voor de koninklijke kastelen uit het begin van de 13e eeuw.
