Het bos van Wallers-Arenberg heeft een verschrikkelijke reputatie bij wielerliefhebbers. Jaarlijks gebeuren er valpartijen tijdens de voorjaarsklassieker Parijs-Roubaix met soms desastreuze gevolgen zoals in 1998 toen Johan Museeuw viel en zijn knieschijf brak. In 2001 brak Philippe Gaumont er zijn dijbeen. Opletten dus!
