Deze oude kroeg is gloednieuw! De oude herberg-slagerij was vroeger eigendom van een oude dame die de vestiging in zijn oorspronkelijke toestand behield. De nieuwe eigenaars hebben de geest van de zaak behouden. De inrichting van de zaal achterin bleef intact: witte tegels tegen de muur, vleeshaken, koelkamer, slagersblad om de dienschotels op te zetten. Op de binnenplaats werd een speelzaal met Vlaamse spelen ondergebracht. Tijdens de namiddag en ’s avonds accordeon en regionale muziek. Specialiteit: pastei met bier, kalfstong op Vlaamse wijze, taart met Kriek, speculaasijs, peperkoek met cichorei
