De 2200 hectare grote gemeente is voornamelijk bebost en strekt zich uit van het massief van de Grand Ventron (op de grens met het departement Vosges) tot het meer van Lauch (in de vallei van de Guebwiller), via de stuwdam van Kruth-Wildenstein, de Frenz, de Felsach, de Oderenpas, de Drumont, de Sée, de Treh en de Markstein.
Zoveel bezienswaardigheden betekenen een grote verscheidenheid aan landschappen, maar ze bieden ook een breed scala aan buitenactiviteiten en vrijetijdsbestedingen: wandelen, mountainbiken, alpineskiën, langlaufen, deltavliegen, duiken?
