Sint-Winoksbergen of Bergen is een vestingstadje en kantonhoofdplaats in het noorden van Frankrijk en maakt deel uit van het arrondissement Duinkerke in het Noorderdepartement. De gemeente telt 3888 inwoners en heeft een totale oppervlakte van 132 ha. Het Kolme-kanaal verbindt de stad met Veurne en met de Aa bij Waten. In de dertiende eeuw maakte Sint-Winoksbergen als bloeiende handelsstad deel uit van de Vlaamse Hanze van Londen. Op de 22 meter hoge Groenberg bevond zich van 1022 tot de Franse Revolutie de voor het graafschap Vlaanderen en het bisdom Terwaan belangrijke Abdij van Sint-Winoksbergen.
