Auteur Bart Van Loo vertelt in zijn podcast met onmetelijk enthousiasme waarom je absoluut deze Mozesput moet zien. Volgens hem is dit hét meesterwerk van de middeleeuwse kunst. Het is van de hand van Claus Sluter, een man uit de Lage Landen die geboren werd in Haarlem, zijn stiel leerde in Brussel en dan eindigde in Dijon. Hier woonde en werkte hij vanaf 1385. Het kruis bovenop de meesterlijk sokkel is in de loop van de eeuwen gesneuveld. Maar dat laat ons extra focussen om de meestelijke beeldhouwkunst van Claus Sluter.
