De Slag om Sedan of de Tweede Slag om Sedan vond plaats in de Tweede Wereldoorlog tijdens de Slag om Frankrijk in 1940. Het was onderdeel van het operationele plan van de Duitse Wehrmacht, codenaam Fall Gelb, voor een aanval door het heuvelachtige en bosrijke Ardennen, om de geallieerde legers in België en noordoost-Fraankrijk te omsingelen. Groep A van het Duitse leger stak de Maas over met de bedoeling Sedan te veroveren en westwaarts richting de Kanaalkust te duwen, om de geallieerde troepen die oostwaarts naar België opschoven te vangen, als onderdeel van het Geallieerde Dyle Plan.
