De voormalige Tour du Gaz, gelegen aan de Place Saint-Christoly in het historische stadscentrum, had zich nauwelijks een betere renaissance kunnen wensen. Het emblematische gebouw, dat indertijd even transgressief, origineel en innovatief was als Mama Shelter nu is, herbergt nu een leefruimte met een unieke sfeer, een ware "stedelijke kibboets" die is opgebouwd uit ontmoetingen, uitwisselingen, vrijheid, vibraties, sprankelingen en emoties.
Het is onze ambitie om mensen te verwelkomen en samen te brengen.

De 97 minimalistische, onderling verbonden kamers, verspreid over 5 verdiepingen en volledig ingericht door Philippe Starck, bieden maximaal comfort met 5-sterren beddengoed in een decor dat een kenmerk van het hotel is geworden: bedrukte tapijten, cartoonmaskers, spiegelsets en lichtgevende hoofd
