De Slag bij Orléans op 3 en 4 december 1870 was een slag van de Frans-Duitse Oorlog. Hierbij kwam het Franse Loireleger onder de Paladines, met een sterkte van ongeveer 80.000 man, in contact met het tweede leger van kroonprins Friedrich en de legerafdeling van de groothertog van Mecklenburg, samen ongeveer 30.000 man. De slag eindigde met een Duitse overwinning. De Duitse troepen slaagden erin de stad in te nemen, het Franse leger in twee delen te splitsen en een ontzet van Parijs vanuit deze richting te voorkomen.
