Het verdrag van Picquigny werd op 29 augustus 1475 door de koningen Lodewijk XI van Frankrijk en Eduard IV van Engeland in Picquigny getekend waarmee een einde kwam aan de Honderdjarige Oorlog.
In de hoofden van Lodewijk en Edward speelde nog het spookbeeld van de moord in 1419 op Jan zonder Vrees in Montereau-Fault-Yonne tijdens zijn onderhandelingen met de dauphin. Lodewijk en Eduard spraken af dat een houten hek beide partijen op de brug over het eiland zou scheiden.
