Luma Arles is een artistiek en cultureel cultuurcomplex dat is geïnitieerd door de Luma-stichting van Maja Hoffmann in Arles, Frankrijk. Luma Arles, dat in 2013 officieel werd gelanceerd, heeft zich ten doel gesteld om kunstenaars de mogelijkheid te bieden om door interdisciplinaire samenwerking te experimenteren in de productie van nieuwe werken, door nauw samen te werken met andere kunstenaars, curatoren, wetenschappers, innovators en publiek. Het interdisciplinaire cultuurcentrum LUMA Arles moet een ideeënfabriek voor cultuur en ecologie zijn. Architectuur, kunst, onderzoek en milieubescherming grijpen hier in elkaar. In een eigen onderzoekslaboratorium zoeken medewerkers naar lokale bronnen om nieuwe, minder milieubelastende materialen te ontwikkelen.
