Het water van het meer staat bekend als rustig en geschikt voor gezinsbaden. Tijdens het zomerseizoen is het strand van Cazaux Lac de thuishaven van het CAP 33 programma, dat talrijke sportieve activiteiten aanbiedt
Er is gratis parkeergelegenheid, openbare toiletten, picknicktafels en een bowlingbaan.
Handige toegang tot het strand via de Jean Labat esplanade. Er is een tiralo en aangepast sanitair.
