Bestemd voor kinderen met een kwetsbare gezondheid en een bescheiden situatie, werd dit gebouw in 1913 gebouwd, op initiatief van mevrouw Wallerstein. Deze opvanglocatie, gelegen aan het strand, opent ook naar het bassin door middel van een zonnige galerie, bestaande uit ligstoelen. Het zijn de architecten Charles Duval en Emmanuel Gonse die deze gebouwen hebben gerealiseerd. De eetzaal is versierd met prachtige muurschilderingen van de schilder Henri Marret. Het is in 1971 dat het Aérium zijn deuren sluit, na 3000 kinderen te hebben ontvangen.
