Vrijdag is het apéro-pétanque met vrienden! Je hoeft niet ver te gaan, het vliegveld ontvangt ons met open armen. Geen vliegtuigen meer, het oude vliegveld is veranderd in een groen theater. Vooraf loop ik rustig langs de grote lanen, observeer het landschap, de bloemen en het water. Gezien het aantal vogels ben ik niet de enige die geniet van de rust en stilte van de plek. Dagdromend vertraag ik, snel, de groep wacht op mij op het petanque veld. Omgeven door struiken en uitgerust met een barbecue, is het net alsof je in de tuin bent! Het weekend begint goed!
