Tijdens een wandeling op het platteland ontdekt u een ongewone plek. Op de katholieke begraafplaats van Niedervisse staat een 16e-eeuws ossuarium, dat als historisch monument is geclassificeerd. Dit was de plaats van het oude dorp, dat in 1636 volledig werd verwoest. Na de Dertigjarige Oorlog werd het in de buurt herbouwd. Het dorp had ook het voorrecht een grote Joodse gemeenschap te herbergen, waarvan de oude begraafplaats te zien is op de route de Coume.
