De enige complete 18e eeuwse cisterciënzer abdij in Frankrijk. Oorspronkelijk gebouwd in de 12e eeuw, werd het volledig herbouwd in de 17e eeuw na tal van historische gebeurtenissen die de bloei voltooiden. Toen het werd herbouwd, werd het een juweel van barokke kunst, vooral dankzij het werk van de Oostenrijkse beeldhouwer Pfaffenhoffen. Kom de abdij van Valloires ontdekken en wandel vervolgens door de Franse tuinen! U zult een uitzonderlijke site ontdekken die cisterciënzer eenvoud combineert met de uitbundigheid van een rococo-wereld: orgelkast, hangende engelen, hoogaltaar, salons met houtwerk in rococostijl... zullen u verrassen.
