La única abadía cisterciense completa del siglo XVIII en Francia. Construido originalmente en el siglo XII, fue completamente reconstruido en el siglo XVII tras numerosos acontecimientos históricos que completaron su prosperidad. Cuando se reconstruyó, se convirtió en una joya del arte barroco, gracias sobre todo al trabajo del escultor austriaco Pfaffenhoffen.
