Bourg is een oud dorp gebouwd op een rotspunt. Het is te ontdekken tussen de boven- en benedenstad en biedt talrijke onbelemmerde uitzichten vanaf de middeleeuwse stadswallen.
Voor een tussenstop kunt u aanleggen in de haven van Bourg aan de Dordogne. Het ponton van de nautische aanlegplaats is toegankelijk voor boten van minder dan 12 meter en een diepgang van 3,40 meter.
