De gemeentelijke bibliotheek van Meilhan-sur-Garonne is 20 uur per week geopend.
Raadpleging ter plaatse is gratis. Leden kunnen 5 documenten (boeken en audio-cd's) lenen voor een periode van vijf weken. De collectie wordt regelmatig vernieuwd dankzij de mediatheek van het departement Lot-et-Garonne.
Er worden ook activiteiten aangeboden in de bibliotheek, waaronder vertelshows, tentoonstellingen, bijeenkomsten en signeersessies van auteurs.
De mediatheek biedt ook digitale middelen en toegang voor al haar leden tot de digitale mediatheek van Lot-et-Garonne
Twee computerstations met internettoegang en een tablet staan ter beschikking van de gebruikers.
