Het water van het Lac de Cazaux staat bekend als rustig en geschikt om in te zwemmen voor jong en oud. Het strand van Laouga is een klein paradijs beschut tegen de stedelijke wereld. Het biedt veilig zwemmen en een aangenaam moment liggend op het fijne zand (gratis parkeren, openbare toiletten, picknicktafels). Het strand is bewaakt van begin juli tot eind augustus.
