Het centrale noordelijke strand van Montalivet ligt aan het einde van de Avenue de l'Océan, aan de rand van het centrum. De badplaats is ook zeer goed verbonden met de Vélodyssée, die langs de kust loopt.
De reddingshutten, rechtstreeks afkomstig uit de Verenigde Staten, en de surfsfeer blazen een Californische wind over deze kleine badplaats in de Médoc, die aan charme geen gebrek heeft.
Een groot aantal sportactiviteiten kan in de zomer direct op het strand worden beoefend, ideaal om met familie of vrienden te genieten van het zand en de oceaan!
Dieren zijn tijdens de zomerperiode niet toegestaan op het strand, zie de regels die bij de ingang van het strand zijn opgehangen.
