Aan de oever van de Orb is deze schaduwrijke tuin bijzonder aangenaam. Er zijn ook de Cordier molens, genoemd naar de architect Jean-Marie Cordier, die het leven van de inwoners van Béziers radicaal veranderde door het ontwerp van de waterleiding voor de bovenstad. Dit was in 1827.
Als teken van dankbaarheid kreeg de ingenieur een echt mausoleum op de Oude Begraafplaats.
