13 km ten zuidoosten van Nérac nodigt het bastidestadje Francescas je uit om door de middeleeuwse straatjes te wandelen en het museum van antieke blikken te ontdekken. Dit originele museum bevindt zich op het centrale plein en is gevestigd in een huis dat zijn originele gevels uit 1579 heeft behouden. Binnen, gerenoveerd in de 20e eeuw, ontdek je tientallen voorwerpen uit alle vijf de continenten.
Als vitrine voor deze belangrijke collectie kun je op piramidevormige glazen planken elke doos ontdekken terwijl ze worden beschermd. Ooit waren het luxeartikelen, nu zijn het reclamemedia en sommige zijn heel oud. Ze getuigen van het alledaagse leven en nodigen je uit om een reis rond de wereld te maken.
