A 13 km a sud-est di Nérac, la cittadina bastide di Francescas invita a passeggiare per le sue strade medievali e a scoprire il suo museo delle antiche lattine. Situato nella piazza principale, questo originale museo è ospitato in una casa che ha conservato le facciate originali del 1579. All'interno, ristrutturato nel XX secolo, scoprirete decine di oggetti provenienti da tutti e cinque i continenti.
Come vetrina di questa importante collezione, scaffali di vetro a forma di piramide permettono di scoprire ogni scatola proteggendola. Un tempo oggetti di lusso, oggi sono supporti pubblicitari e alcuni di essi sono molto antichi. Testimoniano la vita quotidiana e invitano a fare un viaggio intorno al mondo.
