De Commanderie d'Arville werd in de 12e eeuw gesticht door de Orde van de Tempel en is nu een van de best bewaarde commanderijen in Frankrijk. Met zijn kerk, voorportaal, stallen, tiendschuur en duiventil roept dit grootschalige architecturale complex (12e-16e eeuw) het dagelijkse leven van de Tempeliers op voordat ze naar het Heilige Land vertrokken.
Langs de route staan verklarende borden die bezoekers helpen de geschiedenis van de tempeliers te begrijpen. Het bezoek wordt uitgebreid met de ontdekking van een middeleeuwse tuin, bestaande uit vier thematische pleinen: akkerplanten, nutsplanten, geneeskrachtige planten en groenten. Een botanisch pad rondt deze bucolische reis door de tempelierscommanderij af, met een mooie verzameling fruitbomen (peer, appel, enz.).
