Fondata nel XII secolo dall'Ordine del Tempio, la Commanderie d'Arville è oggi una delle commanderie meglio conservate di Francia. Con la sua chiesa, il portico d'ingresso, le scuderie, il granaio delle decime e la colombaia, questo grande complesso architettonico (XII-XVI secolo) evoca la vita quotidiana dei Cavalieri Templari prima della loro partenza per la Terra Santa.
