Gebouwd in 1903, tegenover het nieuwe station in het centrum van Biarritz, verwelkomde het de nieuwkomers in Biarritz. Vandaag is het Gare du Midi een locatie voor voorstellingen en het hart van het park wordt elke middag een danspodium tijdens het Temps d'Aimer festival (dansfestival). De openbare tuin is de kinderspeelplaats van het stadscentrum, gelegen aan de Avenue Foch.
De kinderspeelplaats bevindt zich op het hoge terrein in de tuin en is permanent toegankelijk.
