Kom en verken een van de oudste Gallische vestingwerken in Noordoost-Europa. Attila's Camp is een Gallische vlakte oppidum. De ommuring werd rond 80 v. Chr. gebouwd door het volk van Catalaune, dat later de stad Châlons stichtte. In de middeleeuwen bouwde een heer een motte castrale om een kasteel te stichten, een eenvoudige houten donjon. In de 18e eeuw ontstond een legende volgens welke de slag van 451 tegen de Hunnen daar werd uitgevochten, en de naam "Attila's Kamp" werd bedacht. Om de volledige omvang van de arena te waarderen, bieden zes uitkijkposten een prachtig uitzicht en zes verklarende panelen begeleiden u langs de route.
