Gelegen in het hart van een groene vallei, biedt de vakwerkgevel met zijn dubbele kroonlijst, gebeeldhouwd aan het einde van de Middeleeuwen (Inventaire.Supplémentaire.Monuments.Historiques) zich aan de bezoeker aan in een rustgevende omgeving. Hier heeft de vegetatie geen andere ambitie dan het gebouw en zijn materialen te benadrukken: leem, bakstenen en vakwerk. Het zorgt voor een discrete overgang met het omringende landschap
