Gelegen in de gemeenten Gorcy en Ville-Houdlémont in Frankrijk en Signeulx en Baranzy (gemeente Musson) in België, beslaat het natuurreservaat, waar de beek de Cussigny doorheen stroomt, momenteel een oppervlakte van ongeveer 40 hectare.
Het is een oase van rust voor flora en fauna. Vroeger leverde dit moerasland veevoeder dankzij de goede werking van een voorouderlijk irrigatiesysteem.
Er zijn verschillende habitattypes op de site, die talrijke vogelsoorten aantrekken.
Bekijk de moerassen, hooilanden, bossen, een oude spoorlijn (perfect om de site te observeren) en informatiepanelen.
Er zijn tafels en banken geplaatst, evenals een fietspad (op de oude spoorlijn, een overblijfsel uit het tijdperk van de staalproductie).
