Het kasteel van Moisse is gelegen in de plaats Moisse, in de gemeente Bétête, in het departement Creuse, regio Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Frankrijk. Claude Amable de Beaufranchet vestigde zich in 1816 in het kleine kasteel van Puy in de gemeente Tercillat. Hij kocht vervolgens enkele boerderijen te koop in Moisse en bouwde daar in 1843 een nieuwe woning voor zichzelf. Deze eenvoudige constructie was een vergrote kopie van die van Puy. Hij droeg het in 1854 over aan zijn zoon Ernest.
