De gîte ligt in de vallei van de 5 kastelen, vlakbij de rivier de Dordogne, grenzend aan beroemde kastelen zoals Beynac, Castelnaud, les Milandes en vlakbij het typische dorpje la Roque Gageac, geklasseerd als "mooiste dorp van Frankrijk". Talrijke wandel- en kanoroutes zijn beschikbaar in de buurt.
Het domein heeft verschillende huurwoningen gelegen in een rustig park.
De Dordogne gite is een huis met drie slaapkamers voor zes personen dat grenst aan een andere Gîtes de France verhuur.
Het zwembad wordt gedeeld met de andere vakantiehuizen.
