Na de verwoesting van het dorp tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog werd de kerk in 1961 herbouwd in een zeer eigentijdse en originele stijl met een terrasvormig dak. De klokkentoren staat los van de kerk en heeft een zeer moderne vorm. De Zwitserse kunstenaar Jean Weinbaum heeft samen met de Ateliers Loire een glas-in-loodraam gemaakt van antiek glas en lood, volledig beschilderd en gebakken.
