Dit huis ligt in het centrum van Frankrijk, op een voorgebergte met een uniek uitzicht over het platteland van de Limousin, met de kerktoren van Magnac-Laval op 3,5 km afstand. Met de dichtstbijzijnde marktstadjes op slechts 3,5 km afstand, geniet het huis van veel rust en stilte, af en toe gestoord door een paar dieren, waaronder de koeien van onze buren. Vanaf het huis vertrekken verschillende bewegwijzerde wandelpaden, waaronder de "boucle de La Sagne Barrat".
Het huis dateert van rond 1650 en is ingericht met antieke meubels, beddengoed en apparaten die regelmatig worden vernieuwd.
