Het atelier XULOKOPOS werd in 2000 opgericht door twee mensen met een passie voor hout en inlegwerk. Christina Von Mohrenschildt, een inlegwerkkunstenares die de titel Meilleur Ouvrier de France en Maître Artisan en Métiers d'Art heeft gekregen, en haar partner Jean-Emmanuel Riard, een meubelmaker, hebben hun talenten gebundeld om de inlegwerkkunst te promoten.
Ze creëren en vervaardigen originele werken in de vorm van schilderijen, objecten en meubels, in eenmalige stukken of beperkte series.
Ze werken met finesse en elegantie op het natuurlijke element dat hout is, het sleutelelement in de creatie van een kunstwerk, om beweging en diepte te creëren.
Het resultaat van de compositie is uitsluitend te danken aan de keuze van het hout
