Het mobiele fonteinbeeld, geïnstalleerd voor het voormalige gerechtsgebouw, nu het stadhuis, is het gezamenlijke werk van Jean Tinguely en Nikki de Saint-Phalle. Het werd aan Château-Chinon geschonken door François Mitterrand en is in de eerste plaats opmerkelijk omdat er slechts vijf van zijn in de wereld, waarvan twee in Frankrijk, en in de tweede plaats omdat het bevalt door zijn beweging en zijn kleuren, die zeer kenmerkend zijn voor Nikki: helder, levendig, bijna verblindend. Het is vrolijk, verrassend, verleidelijk. Het is een knipoog van de stad naar jou.
